Good Things

Good things that have happened to me this week:

1. When I got my large hot chocolate at the little coffee stand I go to, the gal said, “I’m so sorry, but I accidently made an extra-large for you. Is that okay?” and I said, “Oh, sure. Do you want me to pay the difference?” and she said, “No, that’s okay.” Score!

2. I stopped at the vending machine downstairs with a hankering for some Nutter Butters. I put in my 85 cents and got TWO packages. SCORE!

3. I don’t have to serve on a jury this week. Yay! I looked on their website this afternoon and found this message:

Instructions for Reporting to Tacoma for Jury Service
REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR Tuesday, February 19, 2008

There are no jury selections during the FIRST week of your two-week call in term, which begins on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Please check back after 4:30 on Friday, February 22nd, or anytime over that weekend, to determine if you will need to report for service on Monday, February 25th instead.

Woo hoo!

See good things can happen. Admittedly, these are pretty small things, but they were nice anyway. And I'm sure more bad things are on the way so I will just enjoy the good while I can.

Hey, it's the little things that count.

As for your post below, I just went through computer hell for the past three days because my computer totally went down. I am so dependent on that thing it isn't funny. If I had to give that up for lent, I wouldn't make it.
