I want to know who decided that the way to measure plastic storage containers was in gallons or quarts. Do people normally visualize storing things in terms of liquids? Don’t get me wrong, I love storage boxes. I have a ton of them in various sizes at home. So if I tell you that I need a 1.5 gallon box, does that really tell you anything? How about 5.4 quarts? Any better? If I said a shoebox sized one you might have a clearer picture of what I’m looking for. I have never measured the amount of liquid that I can put in a storage box. In fact, I have never stored any liquid in a storage box. Tupperware doesn't count.
Weird.
