What Next?

I haven't been properly complementary to my wonderful husband Greg for how well he's been taking care of me through this broken ankle thing. He's taken me to the ER, made me breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and dessert and brought them all upstairs to me. He's had to take over all the duties I usually do, including taking the dogs out, dishes, laundry, and trash disposal. He's driven me to my doctor appointment for the cast, the library, and to work to pick up a lap top (that didn't work).

He's done all this wonderful caring stuff for me for the past week and a half despite the fact that he's been fighting his own pain. His back went out again the day before I broke my ankle. And of course, he hasn't been sleeping. So here he is, waiting on me hand and foot (hee hee) and fighting his own pain, tiredness, and the migraines he gets from the combination of back pain and no sleep. He's been sick from the pain medication and despite all this has knocked himself out to keep me fed and watered and the house running.

Last night, as he was getting out of the shower, Greg broke his pinky toe. Isn't this ugly?

I sure would like to know what God intends us to learn from all this. If you have any idea, please let me know, because we are baffled. I hesitate to wonder what will be next.

dude, did a black cat cross your path or something?

Greg has taken good care of you :)

Tell him I hope he feels better. I broke my pinky toe once and it was a *#$&*#&$*#&$#*(& bitch. How can one little appendage hurt so damn much? All I know is I couldn't wear a shoe for about two months.

Hope you are feeling a bit better yourself.

Ouch! Been there, done that, downed the pain meds.

I hope camping went well, and the scrap book pages look very cool!

When the dust finally settles...I owe you a drink..your choice. And I'm going shopping for matching army boots for you and your hubby...that you have to wear...24 hours a day. That'll fix it.
